What we’re missing is aspirations. Micro and macro aspirations. We’re getting lost in putting out oppressive fires, taking care of our immediate needs, and staying alive in modern-day colonialism. There’s F tons and S tons of talk about what’s happening now, what’s shitty, and exactly how it’s shitty, that there seems to be no room for what could be. 

But there is! And I personally dedicate every sleeping session to dreaming. To literally and figuratively dream—about what I want, what we could want for ourselves and our world. I try to hold space in every conversation for intrinsic value—the things we value for their own sake. So in the spirit of aspirations, let me list some things I value and want more of:

 - Playtime! I wanna get super kooky and spontaneous and sing songs badly and get kicked out of places for being too annoying!

- Rigorous thought! I wanna deconstruct and reconstruct all of reality in my mind. I want to understand everything, from the way enzymes break down chemicals, to the way the sun creates energy, to the way plants photosynthesize, to the way our minds synthesize (and explode ;)!

- I want kids to be self-determined and live in open-ended nurturing environments where they can truly self-discover and self-love and maintain the critical thinking and creativity they were born with, while expanding on their interests, and growing to be insightful, powerful, and compassionate adults.

- I want the current population of adults to take healing vacations, to revisit every painful experience of their life, and expire the maladaptations from childhood they have developed. 

 - I then want each adult to find their true liberation role, and play it well. To utilize their identity, social capital, strengths, and values for collective liberation, which is the global win-win!

- I then want to have a party on April Fool’s Day 2057 to celebrate the accomplishment of a global omniarchy of micro- and macro- community designed infrastructures and cultures!
